ETHIOPIAN YIRGACHEFFE

Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Coffee is one of the most famous and high-quality coffees in the world, originating from the Yirgacheffe region in southern Ethiopia. It is known for its bright acidity, floral aroma, and citrus or fruity flavor notes like lemon, bergamot, and jasmine.

• Origin: Yirgacheffe, Sidamo region, Ethiopia

• Altitude: 1,700–2,200 meters above sea level

• Processing: Mostly washed (wet) process

• Flavor Profile: Floral, citrusy, tea-like body, clean finish

• Reputation: Often considered the “champagne of coffees” for its refined and complex taste

Ethiopian Sidamo Coffee originates from the Sidamo region in southern Ethiopia, one of the country’s most famous coffee-growing areas. It is celebrated for its rich aroma, balanced acidity, and complex flavor profile with notes of berries, citrus, and floral tones.

• Origin: Sidamo, Southern Ethiopia

• Altitude: 1,500–2,200 meters above sea level

• Processing: Both washed (wet) and natural (dry) methods

• Flavor Profile: Fruity, floral, sweet, with medium body and bright acidity

• Cup Character: Smooth, aromatic, and well-balanced

Ethiopian Nekemte Coffee comes from the Wollega region in western Ethiopia, near the town of Nekemte (also spelled Nekempt). It is known for its full body, rich aroma, and smooth, wine-like flavor with hints of chocolate and spice.

• Origin: Nekemte, Wollega Zone, Western Ethiopia

• Altitude: 1,500–2,200 meters above sea level

• Processing: Usually natural (dry) process

• Flavor Profile: Sweet, fruity, winey, with notes of spice or chocolate
